PICTURES FROM THE CHICKEN & CHAMPAGNE NIGHT ON FRIDAY MAY 19th 2023

A fun night was had by all at our Chicken and Champagne Night. The winners of the best Male and Female headwear were presented with their prizes and judged by Miss Clarissa Knox who did an excellent job. 

The reasons for the placings were very original. Clarissa thought the best male hat was for the colours and the pom pom on top. This was won by Don Dodds who went home with a huge box of chocolates.

Best female hat was won by Margaret Cummings. Clarissa thought Marg had made a very big effort by putting pieces of ivy around the brim of her hat. And second female prize was won by Gloria Mann for the best flower decorated hat. Both the ladies went home with a bottle of wine.

After a lovely meal the conga was danced around the hall, and everyone had a merry old time.

Our next social function will be Thursday September 21st, 2023, with the opening of the Green`s.
